The inspiration for this painting came to me while I was visiting the Salone del Mobile in Milan Italy in April 2019. I saw many beautiful contemporary interior design ideas and was attracted to the still life displays.I chose to paint this still life in black & white because these are the colors I associate with Milan and urban life in general.This painting will look absolutely stunning in a minimalistic or contemporary setting and is a perfect decorative element for someone who loves the classical aspect of still life and a modern edge to things.It was painted in the month of June 2019 and was done in acrylic paints which I prepare from mineral pigments in the studio. This painting will be rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube via international courier which includes a tracking number.
