I live in Italy and admire Caravaggio’s art.
He has been a teacher to me and through this painting I would like to express my love for this incredible master.
I wanted to create a timeless painting, in the sense that it doesn’t belong to contemporary time.
It’s an exercise to improve my skills as an artist.
It’s painted in monochrome using mineral pigments just like the masters.
My palette is aesthetic here and has subtle uses of color.
It can bring tristezza.
This painting will look absolutely stunning in a minimalistic or contemporary setting and is a perfect decorative element for someone who loves medieval music and costumes . It will always be a joy for anyone to look at.
It was painted in the month of June 2019 and was done in acrylic paints which I prepare from mineral pigments in the studio.Price of painting is based on a €5 per square inch calculation.
This painting will be rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube via international courier which includes a tracking number.
